see relatedI decided since I can’t seem to write a paper I have to do for homework to write on my blog. So my last post was about how I made it back to Brasil. Well now I have graduated from high school and am back in the states. I arrived here about 8 weeks ago and am going to college.
So far college has been good. It’s weird having 4 classes and not 7, but having about the same amount of homework. I have been getting around 7 hours of sleep every night, but really I need about 8. My older brother is going to the same college as me, which is kind of cool. There are also a few Brasilians here and I enjoy talking with them and my brother in Portuguese.
Other than that there is not much else to say. I think writing this did help my writers block and I might be able to write a conclusion on something I have to read for my English class, actually there is about 3 conclusions I have to write for my English class. All on different papers 2 of the conclusions have to be 300 words and the other one has to be 600-750 words. Besides that I have some reading to do.
Off to conquer my homework,

Christmas went well. I got a digital camera.
I'm happy to be going back to Brasil but once again shed tears for the friend here which I have had to say good bye to. So good bye to all next time I write I will be back in Brazil.

see relatedI'm trying to write a paper for my Bible class. It's a personal manifesto. These are the questions I have to answer. I have to answer "what I believe" for each each major world view question/issue and "why I believe it". You try doing it. it's harder than it looks.
Issue Question
Epistemology -- How do we acquire knowledge, truth and authority?
Cosmology -- How did everything begin?
Ontology -- What is real? The nature and substance of reality.
Ethics -- What is right? Questions on morality.
Theology -- What is God like? His relationship to man and the cosmos.
Anthropology -- What is man? His relationship to the rest of the cosmos.
History -- Why do things happen as they do? Ultimate purpose of history ?
Death -- What happens at death?

see relatedSo the college interview went well. It was more of a college visit though. They told you how they do everything with admission and took you around the campus and told you different things they do there like how it's not a party school and how they play flashlight tag and hide and go seek most Friday nights. Also the teachers like to talk to you and invest their time in you. And the cool thing is that in some ways it reminds me of AVA.
And this week a friend of my family's is staying with for a week cause his parents went to Hawaii for the week and he needs some one to make sure he gets to school and he goes to the same school that me and my brothers go to. And he's sitting here watching me type this and being annoying.
So that's about it.
